What is RankBid?
RankBid is a free product launch and discovery platform where the community votes and the most-voted products rise to the top of a live leaderboard. Makers submit websites, apps or creator profiles, and rankings are decided by votes, not algorithms. Makers who want extra visibility can also sponsor their product from $1, with clearly labeled sponsored listings ranked by price.
Is RankBid free to use?
Yes. Submitting a product and voting on RankBid are both 100% free, with no listing fees and no limit on how many products you submit. Sponsored spots are an optional paid extra and are never required to rank on the leaderboard.
How does voting work on RankBid?
Each person gets one vote per product on RankBid. Logged-in members vote from any listing, and anyone else can vote through a product’s shareable support link with just a name and email, no account needed (they confirm it from a link we email). Vote counts are public and update in real time.
How are rankings determined?
RankBid ranks products by total community votes, highest first. When two products have the same number of votes, the one that reached that count first ranks higher, like a queue: a product that just reached it joins the end of that group. Products with no votes yet are ordered by submission date. The all-time leaderboard never resets.
What is the difference between all-time and today’s rankings?
The all-time RankBid leaderboard uses every vote a product has ever received. The Today board only counts votes since midnight in your time zone and resets at your next midnight, so new launches can trend quickly and rankings can differ between time zones. The top products for each UTC day are saved to the Archive.
What can I submit to RankBid?
You can submit any live website, app or creator profile on X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok or Facebook. The listing needs a working URL, an accurate title and description, and the best-fitting category. One listing per product, no duplicates.
How do I get more votes for my product?
Share your product’s support link. Every RankBid listing has a public support link plus one-click sharing to WhatsApp, X and LinkedIn and a downloadable rank card. Friends, customers and followers can vote in about 10 seconds without creating an account.
How do sponsored spots work?
You choose how much to pay, from $1, and sponsored products are ranked by that amount: the highest payment is #1. To rank above a product, pay more than it did; on equal amounts whoever paid first stays ahead. The top 10 show first on the homepage above the vote leaderboard, the rest are on its next pages, every sponsored product is listed on the Sponsored page, and all are labeled Sponsored. Each sponsorship is a one-time payment with no end date, paid by card through Stripe in US dollars, and sponsored products follow the same content rules as everyone else.
Can I get a refund for a sponsored spot?
No. RankBid cannot refund the amount you paid for a sponsored position once your listing is live, even if you paid by mistake or more than once, or someone pays more and your position drops. You confirm this by ticking a box before checkout. The only exceptions are a payment for a listing that never goes live, which is refunded in full, and any refund the law requires.
Do sponsored spots change the vote rankings?
No. Paying for a sponsored spot on RankBid does not add votes or move a product on the vote leaderboard. Sponsored spots are a separate, labeled list ordered by bid, and the leaderboard is ordered only by community votes.
What do clicks mean on RankBid?
A click on RankBid is a visitor opening a product, either its RankBid page or its website. Each visitor counts once per product every 30 minutes, so refreshing or clicking again does not inflate the number. Click counts are shown on every listing and sponsored spot.
Can I buy or trade votes?
No. RankBid bans fake accounts, bots, vote buying and vote trading. Faking clicks is banned too. Any attempt to manipulate rankings or clicks gets the listing removed and the account banned, which keeps the leaderboard an honest signal of what people like.
What categories does RankBid have?
RankBid has 28 categories, including Marketing, SEO, Productivity, Agents, Crypto, Developer, Design, AI, E-commerce, Health, Education and Business. Each category has its own live leaderboard.
Is RankBid an alternative to Product Hunt?
Yes. RankBid is a free product launch platform like Product Hunt, built around one rule: the public vote count decides the leaderboard rank. Every listing goes live without an editorial queue, and makers can collect votes from people who don’t have an account.
How do I remove or edit my submission?
Email the RankBid support team and they will update or remove your listing, aiming to reply within 2 business days. You can see everything you have submitted and voted for on your profile page.
